Validating Your Birth and Parenting Journey

Beyond The Birth Support

The Process

Three thoughtful steps to help you feel validated

Step 1. The Pre-work 60 minutes

Our first step is an invitation to share your story, though the process is just as powerful if you choose to remain private. We will focus on how you feel now and how you would like to feel moving forward, in a reflection similar to a birth debrief. We will conclude with a guided relaxation to help you feel focused and grounded.

Step 2. The Rewind 90 minutes

This stage involves the actual Rewind technique, conducted while you are in a deeply relaxed state. The aim is to reprocess the memory so that it no longer carries its current emotional charge, effectively neutralizing the triggers that impact your daily life.

Our final session is a time to check in and discuss the shifts you’ve noticed since the Rewind process. We will reflect on how you feel now and look forward to the future as you step into this next chapter with confidence.

Step 3. The Review 30-45 minutes

Birth trauma, Parenting and the 3-Step Rewind

What are some birth trauma symptoms

Flashbacks or nightmares, Anxiety and panic attacks

Feelings of guilt, anger, sadness, or depression

Difficulty bonding with your baby

Strain on relationships with your partner or loved ones

Disrupted self-esteem or confidence

Childbirth doesn't always go as planned, and for many, the emotional aftermath is hard to process. Research suggests that 30% of parents experience trauma symptoms—whether due to medical emergencies, a difficult breastfeeding journey, or feeling unheard by staff. Birth trauma isn't a disorder; it is a natural response to a distressing event. What matters most isn't how the birth looked on paper, but how you feel about it now.

Content-Light: You don't have to tell your whole story or stay stuck in the memory.

Solution-Focused: A targeted NLP technique, not long-term counseling or medical treatment.

Memory-Safe: It changes your emotional response, it doesn't "delete" your history.

Emotional Support: It bridges the gap where medical debriefs end, focusing on your feelings rather than clinical notes.

Everyday challenges with parenting

We hear parenting is hard, but it often feels like a hidden conversation when it comes to the everyday challenges:

The never-ending guilt

Sensory and decision overwhelm

Parental shaming from others (intentional or not)

Comparison parenting

Lack of "a village" support from others

Identity shift into parenting

How the 3-Step Rewind supports everyday parenting challenges

When your nervous system is overloaded by past guilt or future anxiety, making even simple daily choices feels impossible. By "rewinding" the emotional charge of previous difficult decisions (like birth choices or breastfeeding struggles), we lower your overall baseline of stress. A calmer nervous system leads to clearer thinking and less daily overwhelm.
